Yacona Patova Description:

Yacona Patova is a Walkie™, an entirely screen written, fully navigable, fictional town, that you can play, pause, rewind, fast-foward, and “walk around” in. Rendered in silent film style, and accompanied by a piano soundtrack, it contains over fifty characters going about their lives in a small rural town, “speaking” their lines via title cards that pop up above their heads. Roam freely through the town and its surrounding country side as the story plays out, or choose to follow any character, including people, cows, chickens, sheep, and the birds which allow you to “fly”. Pause the world and move around while time is stopped to see the action frozen in time from all angles. Rewind the world and start from new locations to watch a different story.

• Tap anywhere to bring up the play, pause, forward, & rewind controls for the world.
• Drag the screen to move around
• Twist to rotate the view
• Pinch to zoom in or out
• Tap any character to follow and double tap ground or swipe to stop following.

Notes:

• This app is designed for newer iPads!!! For best performance, view on an iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 2, or iPad Mini 3.

• The runtime is 30 minutes, but you can spend several hours following all the different characters and still not read all the dialogue.

• To get the full effect seen in the previews, make sure to be downtown around the 20-25 minute mark.
